Variations on a theme of Bob

Regarding details of the exhibition just posted

Many reading this will have known of it already, not least because they were at the private view last night.

For those who weren’t….

Jennifer Pike Cobbing was present and performed from Bob’s ABC in Sound.

After that, Benedict Taylor (viola) and Lawrence Upton performed four pages from With our tongues…

It was good to see so many people there, not least our friends from Chile and foro de escritores – Alfonso, Gregorio and Andres.

Some points:

  • I am investigating how practical it is to make a video of the exhibition for those who cannot attend.
  • We hope to organise another performance evening in April. Details will be circulated to those on the emailing list.
  • My introductory talk last night, as curator, was partially improvised; but I hope to have a final text in typescript fairly soon. That will be available in print at the gallery in due course; but a copy can be sent as a word document by wfuk — just ask
